NV-W50: construction, industry and events

The big one. 5,040 Wh, 5,000 W, expandable to 35.3 kWh: several days off-grid.

  • 5,040 Wh
  • 5,000 Wcontinuous
  • 7,000 Wpeak
  • 68 kg

Same steel shell and same wheeled chassis as the NV-W36, with capacity raised to 5,040 Wh and 5,000 W continuous. The model that lasts several days on an off-grid site.

Who it is for

Off-grid sites

5,040 Wh, expandable to 35.3 kWh with NV-B5 batteries: the site accommodation runs for several days.

Mines and quarries

Dust, mud, rough ground: IP54 chassis, IP67 sockets, all-terrain wheels. It follows the crew to the working face.

Pumping and emergency response

5,000 W continuous and 7,000 W peak: a sump pump starts and runs without tripping the breaker.

Ports, docks and industry

It replaces the combustion-engine generator set in confined spaces: no CO, no engine, no refuelling.

Key features

  • 5,000 W continuous, 7,000 W peak : the most powerful in the range. Compressor, sump pump, concrete mixer and demolition hammer start without tripping the breaker.
  • The lowest cost per stored kWh in the range : this is the model that returns the most energy per euro invested.
  • Built-in 30 mA RCD and a circuit breaker on each socket: personal protection is built into the machine, not added around it.
  • Grade A LiFePO4 battery, automotive-grade cells: 3,000 cycles above 80% capacity, 4,000 cycles above 70%.
  • Smart BMS : cell balancing, thermal protection, cut-off on overload and short circuit.
  • Built-in MPPT : panels connect directly, with no external charge controller.
  • IP54 on the chassis, IP67 on the sockets : the station can stay outdoors.
  • 50 Hz switchable to 60 Hz from the front panel: the same machine works on European grids and on 60 Hz grids.
  • Simultaneous charging and use : the station supplies power while it recharges.

Runtimes calculated on 85% of rated capacity, with the equipment running continuously. A device that does not run continuously (tools, compressor, fridge) lasts much longer than the value shown.

Outputs and charging

Three ways to charge

Mains

Solar
Anderson input, built-in MPPT controller: up to 1,440 W of NV panels (6 × NV-S240).
Generator set
as a fallback, from a sine-wave generator set.

Simultaneous charging and use: the station supplies power while it recharges.

Compatible with

NV-S1001 to 6 in series, 600 W
NV-S2401 to 6 in series, 1,440 W
Usable maximumup to 1,440 W of NV panels

Extension batteries

Up to six NV-B5 batteries (5,040 Wh) connect in parallel to the expansion port on the left-hand side, with the station switched off, using the cable supplied. Total capacity rises to 35.3 kWh. The batteries extend run time, never power: choose the model for its power first, then the number of batteries for the duration.
